Triangle tablet from The Office could surface in techville

Triangle Tablet From The Office

Life has always been known to offer inspiration to celluloid, but the triangle tablet concept from The Office which may probably surface in techville, only goes to say that reel influences real as well. The Office show viewers may have found the concept to be quirky and funny, but a certain Eric Calisto looked at the idea to be an opportunity of sorts.

A recent post on AllThingsD shared that Calisto is interested in tablets and The Office happens to be his preferred show, so he decided to couple the two. Recently, Calisto went ahead and launched a new project on Kickstarter. Apparently, a funding of about $25,000 is required for the triangle tablet to hit the manufacturing process comfortably. If and when the funding gets rounded out nicely, the concept will indeed materialize. The tablet could be based on the Android platform and may only arrive to add to the number of slabs running the Google OS.

Needless to say, the overall triangular design will be something that should set this offering apart when compared to the tablets seen flooding the markets at present. No further details or specs have been made available regarding the Triangle slate. If this slab does hit stores, then in addition to the unique design it’s various abilities will obviously play a role in deciding its fate in the markets. When we last checked, the concept had received three backers.

The Triangle tablet from The Office is still in the pipeline and it may probably be a while before we see this idea materialize, if and when it receives the complete funding.
