The latest eReader cum tablet creating waves globally is the Kindle Fire which is now available in India through online shopping portal, Tradus.in. The portable device that released last month was announced back in September alongside the new generation Kindle, Kindle Touch and Touch 3G e-readers.

Available for a special price from this website, the Kindle tablet comes equipped with a 7-inch full color LCD touchscreen featuring 16 million colors and 169 pixels per inch. It packs in an internal memory of 8GB and offers free storage in the Amazon Cloud. This slate presents users with a vast collection of more than 17,000,000 songs from Amazon MP3 along with 100,000 movies and TV shows as well as over 1,000,000 books in the Kindle library.

The sleek mobile device is integrated with Amazon’s Whispersync technology that automatically syncs the owner’s Kindle library, bookmarks, last read page, highlights and notes.
