A couple of days ago, Amazon announced the early availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 and now the device has geared up for its arrival through T-Mobile. The 7-inch tablet has been added to the carrier’s portfolio of 4G enabled tablets which boasts of T-Mobile SpringBoard, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and T-Mobile G-Slate.

The lightweight tablet weighing 0.77lbs comes enclosed in a sleek form factor. Operating on the Google Android Honeycomb platform, it is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Featuring onboard memory of 16GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus sports an expandable memory slot which extends support to microSD cards up to 32GB capacity. It is adorned with 7-inch multi-touch display and employs a 3MP rear-facing camera with flash which is capable of recording high definition videos of 720p resolutions.

The 2MP front-facing webcam of the device allows users to engage in online video conferencing. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is deployed with Adobe Flash Player for enhanced web browsing. Also, the device comes with Zinio service and pre-installed Blio eReader which displays eBooks in full color. In addition to this, the tablet is also included with the Samsung Media Hub which offers movies and TV programs for purchase, while the pre-loaded WildTangent provides access to premium games.

The price tag attached to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus reads $249.99 (approx. Rs. 12,350). Besides a $50 mail-in rebate, it requires a two-year service agreement and T-Mobile Value Mobile Broadband plan and 20 $10 monthly payments on approved credit. It will be available starting November 16.
