The Nook Color price and availability through online retailer Best Buy has been revealed with a $50 slash in the original price. The Barnes & Noble eReader now retails from Best Buy at a reduced price which was declared by the seller via its official Twitter page.
The Nook Color was pushed into three vendor portals just a couple of days back along with the Nook Simple Touch Reader. It comes equipped with a 7-inch VividView color display that lets users read various types of books and enjoy a huge collection of interactive magazines and newspapers, among other such content. The tablet offers a choice of 6 adjustable font sizes to readers and is incorporated with 8GB internal memory.
This eReader is capable of supporting USB as well as Wi-Fi connectivity options. It possesses enough space for storing up to 5,000 eBooks or a blend of 1,000 books, 25 full-color magazines, 10 newspapers, 50 kids’ books, 500 songs and 150 pictures. The Barnes & Noble device features AliveTouch technology that helps children in finding their favorite stories and tales as well as understanding words and photos.
The Nook Color tablet attempts to provide a high quality and speedy web browsing experience and lets users expand the storage by up to 32GB. Users can access the expansive Nook Bookstore that has more than 2 million digital titles on offer. Furthermore, it is integrated with the ArticleView technology that apparently improves the magazine browsing and reading experience.
The original price of the Nook Color is $249.99 (approx. Rs. 12,255) and Best Buy is now offering it at a price of $199 (approx. Rs. 9,804).
