HTC Shift X9000 tablet ultra-mobile PC is speculated on the internet for a while now. Meanwhile the rumored UMPC was spotted at leading online shopping website Amazon.
Apparently, the tablet ultra-mobile PC from HTC features a 7-inch touchscreen and is further preloaded with Windows Vista Business. A special key is provided to interchange the screen resolution between 1024 by 600 and 800 by 480.
A webcam, touchpad, fingerprint scanner, two vertically organized mouse buttons and a SnapVue button are some of the other features of the Shift X9000. The SnapButton allows users to check their email even if the device is off.
Moreover, for the ease of surfing the web the device is equipped with Origami 2.0 for web browsing and media management, plus Internet Explorer is also loaded.
Reportedly, the X9000 also features a 40GB 4200RPM hard drive and 1GB of memory, an 800MHz Intel A110 processor and Intel GMA 945 graphics processor. An SD-card slot with 4GB limit is also incorporated.
The HTC X9000 is available for preorder on Amazon at $1500 (approx Rs. 60,120).
