Revamped Fujitsu LifeBook U810 and T2010 Tablet PCs Launched

Fujitsu LifeBook U810, T2010 Last year, Fujitsu had launched the LifeBook U810 and T2010 Tablet PCs. Now, the company has released the upgraded version of these mini notebooks, thanks to a new feature.

Talking about the new addition, both the tablet PCs incorporate HSDPA modem by AT&T with download speeds from 600 to 1400kbps and upload speeds from 500 to 800 kbps. These devices comply with the new Energy Star version 4.0 guidelines and come equipped with enhanced security features to safeguard information including Trusted Platform Module support and two-level BIO lock, along with a fingerprint sensor for encrypting sensitive files with a finger swipe.

Powered by 800Mhz processor, the U810 includes 1GB of DDR2 RAM, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options, a USB port, VGA out, Ethernet slots, support for Windows Vista or XP, a 5.6 inch touch screen LCD and a 40 GB hard drive. It runs on battery that offers up to 5.5 hours.

The T2010 features a 12.1 inch WXGA indoor/outdoor LED with a bi-directional swivel, an Intel Core 2 Duo 7600 processor with ultra low voltage and embedded Smart Card slot. It delivers up to 11 hours of battery life.

If consumers prefer Fujitsu U810 tablet PC they need to pay $999 and an additional $200 for the HSDPA modem. To purchase T2010 tablet PC, they have to loosen $1,499 and an extra $200 for the modem.
