There is news that Asus is ready to launch its new ultra portable PC called U1E. The new ultra portable PC from Asus features 11.1-inch with WXGA display and weighs only 2.2 pounds.
The U1E is also reported to sport Intel Core Duo ULV7500 processor, up to 2 GB of RAM, a 100 GB Hard Drive, and built-in Wifi and Bluetooth. In addition, it includes 0.3 mega pixel webcam and fingerprint reader.
It is also said that the optical drive is external.
Though there is no official confirmation from Asus, the U1E is reported to be available by next month at an estimated price of $2,844 (approx 1,12,990 INR).
