After the recent release of the Renegade and Nitro lineups, the new series by the same company is ready to debut with two devices, the pureSilicon Kage K1 USB flash drive and Kage K1 SATA SSD. Aimed at enterprise level users, both these media storage gadgets offer enhanced performance in a much smaller form factor.

Of these, the pureSilicon Kage K1 USB flash drive offers storage capacity of 240GB packed in a body which measures 4.5mm in thickness. With this, it claims to be the slimmest as well as fastest high-capacity USB format SSD flash drive. Other memory capacity options like 60GB, 90GB, 120GB, and 180GB are also available. While the USB 3.0 interface delivers about 400MB/s sequential performance, the device also employs 2X nanometer flash components.

On the other hand, the pureSilicon K1 SATA SSD measures 100.5 x 69.85 x 7.0 or 9.5 millimeters and offers up to 400GB usable eMLC along with approximately 60K random read and random write IOPS. Other options in terms of storage capacity include 100GB and 200GB. The gadget is also embedded with the VoltStream technology which uses solid-state ceramic capacitors to check power quality and assure a safe power-fail mechanism.
