Kingston carves out HyperX 1600MHz SO-DIMM kits

Kingston HyperX We last caught sight of Kingston when it rolled out the HyperX T1 Black DDR3 triple-channel memory kits in 6GB, 12GB and 24GB capacities. The company has now announced the release of its HyperX DDR3 1600MHz SO-DIMM kits.

The dual-channel, plug-n-play CL9 memory kits claim to be the fastest solutions on the market. The units are meticulously crafted to lend support to notebooks and mobile platforms using the second-generation Intel Core Mobile Processor Family, codenamed Huron River.

“Our latest HyperX SO-DIMMs are the best way to boost the system performance of notebook PCs, as well as mini-ITX motherboards and mobile-based systems, by replacing standard memory with high-speed, higher capacity modules,” commented Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager, Kingston. “With the simple plug and play feature, system performance is enhanced fast and effortlessly as the memory profiles are preset to run automatically.”

In addition, the HyperX SO-DIMM kits can be snapped up in distinct capacities such as 4GB and 8GB. Backed by a lifetime warranty, these new reliable units promise to augment the entire user experience with interesting features.

The 4GB HyperX 1600MHz SO-DIMM kit is priced at $67 (approx Rs. 3,020) and 8GB variant at $122 (approx Rs. 5,499).
