Featuring in densities up to 1TB, these beauties come with second-generation software which proffers a complete suite of tools with a simple graphical user interface. Its newly executed 256-bit Full Disk Encryption offers additional security. Other highlights subsume auto backup software, SecretZone and SafetyKey.
Users can purchase a USB docking station separately for both the basic and premium line devices for easy PC and drive connection. Samsung’s new external drives for desktop PCs flaunt up to 2TB capacities in refined exteriors. For a sleek form factor, these offerings have rounded corners. Their LED lights specify the operation status and are placed at the bottom. Moreover, the 1.5TB and 2TB models are available in brown black and noble beige.
Although the pricing details of Samsung’s latest USB 3.0 external hard drives are unknown, all these devices are anticipated to be available through several U.S. retailers beginning April.
