Patriot Memory Logo Consumers who have been hanging onto their hats for an easy-to-carry drive that not only looks good, but also towers above others are in for a treat. Patriot Memory has just announced its new Supersonic Magnum flash drives which quite efficiently merge lightning-fast functionality with ample storage capacity.

The new flash drive also features a single-chip native USB 3.0 controller and eight-channel technology. Wrapped in a lightweight, durable aluminum enclosure, the Supersonic Magnum delivers users sequential read and write speed of up to 200MB/s and 110MB/s, respectively.

“We continually try to raise the performance bar when it comes to our flash drives. With our new eight-channel memory controller, we are able to reach read and write performance levels previously impossible with external storage,” pointed out Les Henry, Patriot Memory’s Vice President of Engineering.

Apart from good looks and supreme performance, the model can survive against up to 15Gs of shock for safe transportation. With this one around, users seeking great performance can reliably bank in their important data while being on the wheels.

The new Patriot Supersonic Magnum flash drive is expected to ship in the second quarter of this year. It will be making an appearance in 64 gigabyte and 128 gigabyte of capacities.
