The need of enhanced memory modules may be the primary issue of interest for hardcore gamers in order to carry out enhanced overclocking. Mushkin has now crafted a solution by announcing the availability of more Radioactive memory kits. Engineered for gaming and enthusiast users, these storage peripherals are specified at DDR3-1600 CL7.

Players using Intel LGA1366 and LGA1156 platforms can take utmost advantage of these new offerings. Dressed in trendy yellow, the Mushkin memory modules render exceptionally quick speeds. The two latest 4GB and 6GB kits with class latencies of 7-9-7-24 are added in the series.

“Our Radioactive Series has been very well received and we thought it only natural that we increase the number of kit choices offered to our customers. 2010 has been an incredible year for Mushkin. Our Callisto deluxe Series SSDs and Volta and Joule Power Supply Series have been great successes for us,” shared Wade Shiflett, Marketing Director, Mushkin. “We’re poised to continue this growth trend well into 2011, and have great things to offer for the upcoming year. We have very good partners around the world and with their efforts, all of these things have been made possible.”

Utilizing 1.65V, the Mushkin memory kits are designed in 2GB module type. The 4GB dual-channel kit is built for the LGA1156 platform, while the 6GB triple-channel kit is created for the LGA1366-based PCs. Moreover, these modules use the Radioactive Frostbyte Heatsink and operate at 1600MHz.

The Mushkin 4GB and 6GB Radioactive memory kits are priced at $67.49 (approx Rs. 3,030) and $101.49 (approx Rs. 4,555), respectively.
