Silicon Power outs Armor A50 portable hard drive

Silicon Power Armor A50 HDD Building on the success of the Armor A10, Silicon Power has now come up with yet another portable hard disk drive. Called the Armor A50, this elegant looking drive improvises on the concept of the A10. Flaunting an aluminum body, it claims to be completely shock proof.

The A50 has been tried and tested under various conditions to ensure users that their data is safely stored and constantly protected. This shock proof drive flaunts a hairline treated aluminum surface that is fingerprint proof. The raised imprint logo further enhances the appeal of the drive.

The Armor offers support for USB 2.0 interface and claims to provide maximum transfer speed of 480Mbps. The drive is also compatible with USB 1.1 interface. The drive also incorporates OneTouch backup button and LED status light to indicate current transfer modes. The drive bundles up a 60-day trial version of Norton Antivirus software. Backed by a two year warranty, the drive is available in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities.
