Verbatim has launched its new portable SureFire FW 800 USB hard drive in 250GB, 320GB and 500GB capacities. It is a pocket sized device with rugged aluminium body and comes along with a sleek case and required cables.
It is capable of transferring data quickly, thanks to the fast FireWire 800 connectivity and quick USB. It is said to be apt for Macs and also supports Time Machine. It also features fingerprint-resistant surface and supports all USB ports.
The SureFire hard drive comes along with a USB 2.0 cable, USB power cable, Quickstart Guide, FireWire 800 – 400 cable, FireWire 800 – 800 cable and protective carrying case.
It works with Windows 2000, XP or Vista as well as Mac OS X 10.1 or higher operating system. The system employing this hard drive needs to feature FireWire 400 or 800 port and USB 1.1 or 2.0 port. These drives come with 8MB of cache and 5,400 RPM.
The 250GB, 320GB and 500GB portable Verbatim SureFire FW 800 USB hard drive are available now for $109.99 (approx. Rs. 5,357), $139.99 (approx. Rs. 6,818) and $179.99 (approx. Rs. 8764) respectively.
