Conducted on a yearly basis since 1957 by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO), the Good Design evaluation and commendation system honors its winners for generating high quality products with stupendous and inventive original designs.
It is believed that the JIDPO judging panel was specifically impressed with Transcend’s JetFlash T5, remarking that “the T5 drive’s rugged housing and retractable USB connector protect data inside from harmful external factors, and also provide users a feeling of security.”
Incredibly measuring 29.9mm x 15.3mm x 6.1mm (L x W x D), the JetFlash T5 is implausibly compact and weighs merely 2g. Its retractable connector design and color schemes add an enticing look to it.
