RunCore announces the release of its new 1.8-inch affordable Zif PATA and Hyper Speed 256GB 2.5-inch SATA SSD.
With a read/write speed up to 75/40MB/sec, 1.8-inch Zif PATA claims to offer 400% more efficiency compared to the traditional 1.8-inch HDD. It is available in various storage capacities like 16GB, 32GB, 64GB (5mm) and a special 128GB (8mm). The upgrade process is quite simple and user friendly with the onboard USB slave port that provides easy cloning.
The 16GB, 32GB, 64GB (5mm) and 128GB (8mm) Zif/PATA SSD are retail priced at $69.99 (approx Rs. 3,418), $119.99 (approx Rs. 5,863), $199.99 (approx Rs. 9,772), and $389.99 (approx Rs. 19,057), respectively.
The 256GB Pro III Hyper Speed 2.5-inch SATA SSD reads and writes at 230MB/sec and 150MB/sec respectively. It claims to revolutionize the portable computer and supposedly the speed boosts more than 700 percent. The drive also lets you install CAD, Graphics/Video Editing, Gaming etc. on most of the portable laptops. The Power Notebook or Netbook users can upgrade to it at an affordable price of only $699.99 (approx Rs. 34,198).
