A-DATA expands its range of SSD solutions with the launch of XPG Dual SSD 3.5-inch RAID Enclosure. It is ideal for both storage expansion and backup solution.
The XPG Dual SSD 3.5-inch RAID Enclosure offers optimum RAID solution by using two 2.5-inch SATA SSDs and/or HDDs which are mounted on its standard 3.5-inch form factor.
This RAID enclosure is multifunctional and can also be used as two separate drives. Use it as a redundant drive to protect against drive failure or combined as one high-performance drive or as one huge drive. All these configurations can be achieved with the DIP switch equipped by the unit. Furthermore, the SATA or USB connections offer direct and easy access.
Well, A-DATA also introduces a 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch hard drive enclosure (Dual SSD 3.5-inch Enclosure – without built-in RAID function) which converts two 2.5-inch SATAI/II SSD and/or HDD into a 3.5-inch one.
The A-DATA XPG Dual SSD 3.5-inch RAID Enclosure as well as the 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch hard drive enclosure will be available by the end of Q1 2009.
