Buffalo Technology has launched its new MiniStation Turbo USB named HD-PS500U2, which has a storage capacity of 500GB.
It is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X and utilizes the company’s TurboUSB technology that delivers up to 30 percent faster transfer rates as compared to traditional ones.
The 5400RPM MiniStation incorporates the Shock Resistant technology, which has the ability to suspend the drive between its impact resistant plastic chassis and later surrounds it with shock absorbing material. This protects the device from bumps, drops, or shocks.
Moreover, the storage product also features SecureLockWare that avoids unauthorized access if it is lost or stolen. Luckily, the drive does not require any drivers and is pre-formatted for immediate use. Users need to connect to the computer through USB 2.0 and 1.1 for fast and easy access.
