Nokia Luna Bluetooth headset reveals its colorful self

Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset

Besides the much awaited Nokia 603 mobile phone, the Finnish company has also unveiled the new Nokia Luna Bluetooth headset. The latest audio device sports various funky shades of fuchsia, blue, yellow and green besides the standard black and white.

According to the Nokia Conversations blog, this headset comes with NFC capabilities and features a two-piece design. It consists of the base and the earpiece. Once users remove the earpiece from the base and put it to their ears, the Bluetooth connection is automatically made to their phone and they can easily receive incoming calls. When the earpiece is replaced on the base again, the call is ended and Bluetooth is disconnected.

Similar to the recently launched Nokia J headset, this device is also equipped with voice prompts to assist users in pairing and inform them when the battery is running low. This makes the process of pairing reportedly simpler. If users own any of Nokia’s NFC enabled phones such as the C7, Oro, 600, 603, 700, 701 and N9, they can simply tap the devices together to hook them up.

The headset is quite a compact and lightweight device with the earpiece weighing a mere 5g and the base standing at 18.3g. It supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Handsfree profile 1.5 and Headset profile 1.1 advanced multipoint. Users are enabled to attach two different phones to this accessory which provides talk and standby time of up to eight hours and sixty days, respectively.

The Nokia Luna Bluetooth headset will be available from the fourth quarter of this year and is priced at €69 (approx. Rs. 4,655).
