The latest to hit the town with a view to augment the graphics performance are the Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7700 series inclusive of GV-R777OC-1GD, GV-R777D5-1GD, and GV-R775OC-1GI graphics cards. They are deployed with the company’s in-house cooling solution and claim to offer realistic visuals with features like AMD APP acceleration, AMD HD3D and support for Microsoft DirectX 11, Crossfire and PCI-E 3.0.

The GV-R777OC-1GD, capable of over clocking up to 1100MHz, has been built with the 28nm GPU and GDDR5. All the GPUs belonging to this series are integrated with 10cm large fans and make for a silent operation with noise levels ranging between 21.7dBA and 28dBA. The AMD APP (Accelerated Parallel Processing) technology of these graphics processors allows users to carry out parallel processing such as stream computing, ray tracing calculations as well as speedy video transcoding amongst others.
