The Panasonic PT-AE7000 3D and the PT-AR100 home theater projectors have been announced to augment the home viewing experiences of users in India. While the PT-AR100 is a high definition LCD projector, the 3D-enabled PT-AE7000 facilitates converting 2D images to 3D with the help of five 3D modes.
The PT-AE7000 projects images at 1920 x 1080p resolution and employs transparent LCD panels operating at 480Hz. Its optical engine offers 300,000:1 contrast ratio as well as 2000 lumens brightness for clear and sharp images. Besides 2D, the device is also capable of displaying 3D pictures along with converting the former to 3D. The 3D projection capabilities of the device can be attributed to the built-in 3D transmitter and the frame sequential technology.
The eco-friendly peripheral features the intelligent power management system as well as the Dynamic Iris function to cut back on the energy consumption by up to 10 percent. The other attributes include off-timer, low standby power consumption of 0.08 watts and a lamp life of up to 5,000 hours in the eco mode.
The PT-AR100 LCD projector renders 1080p resolution along with 2,800 lumens of brightness. Boasting of 50,000:1 contrast ratio, it provides 7 picture modes such as Cinema 1 mode, Sports mode, Game mode and more. The enhanced picture quality is due to the Dynamic Iris Pro and Pure Color Filter Pro, whereas the clarity in fast-moving scenes is achieved with the assistance of Motion Effect and Details Clarity Processor 3. Additionally, the support for VIERA Link ensures functioning with various other compatible Panasonic devices using its remote control.
The Panasonic PT-AE7000 HD 3D price is tagged at Rs. 2,50,000 and Panasonic PT-AR100 HD projector is priced at Rs. 1,60,000. They are available across the country along with a two-year warranty.
