Epson PowerLite Pro Z-series installation projectors unveiled

The Epson PowerLite Pro Z-series projector lineup now boasts of five new entrants dubbed Z8450WUINL, Z8455WUNL, Z8250NL, Z8255NL and Z8350WNL. Featuring split screen capability, edge blending and DICOM Simulation mode amongst others, this range is said to be apt for corporate houses, rental and staging, museums, higher education and other such sectors.

The Epson PowerLite Pro Z8450WUINL and Z8455WUNL deliver WUXGA resolution with 7,000 lumen display and connect via HD-SDI input for high definition projection at up to 300 feet. They claim to produce clear and sharper images for fast motion videos like action movies or sports. The Z8250NL and Z8255NL render XGA resolution with up to 10,000 lumens, while the Z8350WNL projects 8,500 lumens in WXG resolution.

All five peripherals allow installation in most angles and their Gamma and RGB image adjustments let users manage the brightness and color tones. The integrated Faroudja DCDi chipset makes for an improved video quality and reduces noise. The DICOM simulation mode helps producing medical images such as X-rays using its standardized grayscale, whereas their Super Resolution technology reproduces clear images by improving low resolution or blurry images.

The edge blending feature of these projectors facilitates using multiple PowerLite Pro Z projectors and its split screen function offers three layout options as well as two windows adjacent to each other. Capable of saving menu settings for 10 scenarios, they are included with Epson Easy Management for maintenance scheduling, network monitoring and email alerts through LAN connection. Some other tech specs of the lineup read 3LCD display, liquid cooling system, dual lamp design, 3-chip technology and more.

The white colored Epson PowerLite Pro Z8450WUINL and black Z8455WUNL will hit store shelves in February this year. The PowerLite Pro Z8250NL and Z8255NL drenched in white and black respectively, will be made available in April. The Z8350WNL splashed in a shade of white, will debut in May. Their pricing details are yet to be revealed.
