iBuyPower rolls out revived systems with B3 revision Intel chipsets

Chimera XLC

iBuyPower’s Chimera XLC gaming system incorporates an Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card along with a scorching hot flamed painted chassis. The company has now announced the availability of systems which sport Sandy Bridge Intel second-generation Core processors with B3 revision Intel chipsets that amend the issues put forth by Intel way back in late January.

These new systems include the Chimera XLC which renders advanced cooling capabilities. This offering uses a 240mm radiator, a 200mm fan and five 120mm fans for seamless performance. The motherboards integrated in these systems boast of the B3 revision to deal with the SATA degradation issue that had reduced the sales of the chipset.

“iBuyPower is committed to offering our customers systems that integrate the best components available,” commented Darren Su, Executive Vice President of iBuyPower. “The early availability of revised chipsets in our systems is a feature we are proud to be able to offer our customers.”

The Sandy Bridge CPUs are capable of delivering enhanced overclockability. Owners can benefit from this feature using the iBuyPower’s Power Drive Overclocking service. Further, gamers can cheer since they can select from Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 CPU performance boost.

These new systems with Sandy Bridge Intel second-generation Core processors and B3 revision are anticipated to uplift the overall computing experience.
