OtterBox Defender Series Case iPad 2

Earlier, OtterBox introduced its Defender Series cases for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet as part of the Built for BlackBerry accessories program. The company has now forayed into the market with its Defender Series case for the Apple iPad 2.

The new case sports a 20 percent lighter design as compared to its predecessor for advanced portability. The hi-impact polycarbonate shell wraps the device with inner coring and memory foam pads. The tough, black silicone covering promises to render superior shock and bump protection. The headphone jack, silent/screen rotation lock and 30-pin connector are protected against dust and dirt, thanks to the plugs.

“For a device as versatile as the iPad 2, maximizing protection without sacrificing portability is key,” commented, Curt Richardson OtterBox Founder and CEO. “From its light-weight design to the integrated viewing stand, the level of protection and functionality of our newest Defender Series is impressive.”

The detachable polycarbonate screen safeguards the display screen for scratches and the incorporated stand offers a leveraged viewing experience. OtterBox is expected to roll out more color options soon. Users can seamlessly access several ports and controls without any glitches. As light as 16.32oz, the OtterBox Defender Series case for the Apple iPad 2 can also be easily carried along.

The OtterBox Defender Series case for the Apple iPad 2 can be purchased for $80.95 (approx Rs. 3,637) from the official website.
