The iPad seems to have garnered quite a lot of admiration since it was unveiled by Apple. HyperMac has introduced a stand for the iPad which integrates a 11,000mAh Li-ion internal battery pack that can power the tablet for up to 16 additional hours.
The device is fitted with two rubberized slots to accommodate the iPad at 18° in portrait mode and 45° in landscape mode. It provides about 10W of power and connects to the iPad through the embedded USB port. Additionally, the USB port enables pass through charging and syncing.
The iPad can be synced to a PC even while it’s connected to the HyperMac stand. The Li-ion cells are rechargeable up to 1,000 times. Problems regarding short circuiting, overcharging and temperature are taken care of through the built-in protection. The dimensions of this offering amount to 153mm x 107mm x 29mm and it takes about four hours to charge fully.
