Mitsubishi debuts HC4000 HD home theater projector

Bringing in the use of projectors right across our living rooms, Mitsubishi has now rolled out its new HC4000 high-definition home theater projector. The company will be displaying this latest offering at the Cedia show in Atlanta till September 27.

The newly unleashed offering utilizes Texas Instruments’ 1080p DLP chip, the DarkChip 3 with BrilliantColor. Rendering brightness of up to 1300 lumens, the peripheral offers up to 750:1 ANSI contrast ratio. High detail and color depth is produced for maximum video display impact. A true-to-life visual experience is delivered by its super-sharp, all-glass lenses.

While operating under low conversion mode, the HC4000 proffers an estimated 5000-hour lamp life. It is designed to be resistant to dust, dirt and other micro particles for utmost usage. Weighing less than eight pounds, the offering also comes with a convenient and simple top-access lamp design for easy lamp exchanges. On the connectivity front, the projector subsumes a native digital HDMI input. Other highlights include built-in 1.5x zoom ratio lens and a digital keystone correction.

The Mitsubishi HC4000 high-definition home theater projector can be purchased through most online resellers and authorized dealers for $1495 (approx Rs. 67,424).
