Gigabyte outs AMD AM3 Socket GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard

Gigabyte Logo Manufacturers have been rushing to introduce SATA 3.0 6GB/s and USB 3.0 enabled technology components lately. Gigabyte has launched their new AMD AM3 Socket GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard that lends support to SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology and features the SATA 3.0 6GB/s interface.

The device incorporates the AMD 890GX chipset paired with SB850 South Bridge. It renders native SATA 6GB/s RAID support that enables RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 configurations for enhanced data performance and backup. The motherboard also boasts of being attributed with Gigabyte 3x USB Power Boost technology and USB 3.0 support courtesy of its NEC uPD720200 host controller. It SATA 3.0 compatibility means that users can take advantage of 6GB/s data transfer rates.

The GA-890GPA-UD3H features an ATI Radeon HD 4290 IGP that accommodates DirectX 10.1 and 128M DDR3 sideport memory. The default overclock speed of 700MHz GPU can be overclocked by up to 1150MHz. It hosts PCIe 2.0 x16 graphics slots or alternately, a single card at x16 comprising of DirectX 11 graphics cards for ATI Hybrid CrossFireXT performance as well as platform power efficiency. 3x USB Power Boost offers greater compatibility and extra power for USB devices while enabling efficient regulation of output over the full voltage range.
