Plustek has now rolled out its new MobileOffice S800, a powerful mobile office scanner which scans around 10 cards per minute. This new offering intuitively identifies and extracts all necessary contact information upon insertion.
Crafted with 2mm x 4mm x1 mm dimensions, the S800 is powered by the USB bus and does not require external power or adapters. This offers users the convenience to scan business cards on a PC, laptop or netbook at an office, tradeshow, airport, customer’s site or on the road with utmost ease. The LED based illumination systems and intelligent image processing offer advanced image quality with precise identification and data extraction. The scanner features simplex scanning grayscale or black/white.
Once the card is scanned, the device can seamlessly store all contact information on the card in CardirisV4. This data can be then extracted in various formats like GoldMine, Lotus Notes, InfoBusiness, Excel, Outlook, GroupWise, Palm Desktop, ACT!, Time and Chos, iPhone, CSV and vCard.
