Players may probably know every feature of Nvidia’s graphics cards featuring enhanced technologies used to improve the gaming experience. The company has introduced two new graphics solution based on the Nvidia Fermi architecture for computing systems in India dubbed Quadro 2000 and 600. Flaunting 1GB of dedicated graphics memory, these latest peripherals are compatible with the 3D Vision Pro active shutter-glasses solution.

The novel Quadro 2000 with 192 Cuda processing cores touts to deliver 1.5 times of the geometry performance as compared to the previous Quadro graphics processing unit mid-range solution. Higher performance across CAD and DCC applications like SolidWorks and Autodesk 3ds Max is rendered by using the Nvidia scalable geometry engine. Users can enjoy an immersive 3D experience with powerful visuals with the help of this peripheral.

“At last month’s GPU Technology Conference, the world learned all about the power of our Fermi architecture and how Nvidia Quadro GPUs are being used to solve some of the world’s most complex problems. With these new Quadro solutions, we’re making this computational horsepower available for all users of professional CAD and content creation software applications,” quoted Jeff Brown, General Manager, Professional Solutions Group, Nvidia.

The flexible Quadro 600, on the other side, comes with 96 Cuda processor cores and is an entry-level solution which is said to have the best performance per watt for application like AutoCAD 2011. It allows professional designers to communicate with models which are double of the size and complexity than the earlier entry-level solutions. These solutions are built on industry standards, including OpenGL 4.1, DirectX 11, Shader Model 5.0, DirectCompute and OpenCL.

For enabling increase in computing performance, the Quadro offerings leverage the Nvidia Cuda parallel computing architecture. These solutions boast of 30-bit color fidelity which displays several color variations for rich and vibrant image quality with a wide dynamic gamut. Compliance with PCI Express 2.0, an ultra-quiet design and customized acoustics for silent operation are also bundled in. Moreover, maximization of applications such as Google Earth and 3ds Max is now possible with the Nvidia Mosaic technology.

The Quadro 2000 is priced at Rs. 39,534, while the Quadro 600 costs Rs. 13,134. Both these solutions can be purchased from leading global workstation manufacturers, subsuming Dell, HP and Lenovo as well as through authorized distribution partners, encompassing Leadtek in Asia Pacific.
