Arduino compatible FPC board from Seeed Studio

Seeeduino Film

The title says it all – Seeed Studio has revealed an all-new Arduino compatible flexible printed circuit board dubbed the Seeeduino Film. There’s no need to mention that flexible printed circuits are an answer to the miniaturization requirements of the technology industry, something that rigid printed circuits find a bit hard to offer.

This small and slim board can be cut apart from being chain-able and scrollable. It features full functional Atmega168/328 breakout as well as a USB-Serial interface. The board is fitted with a 20-pin bus passed across every block and comes with an in-built charger circuit.

The company has also warned that this FPC board might be too slim to fit in connectors. Additionally, they have mentioned that this fragile offering is still a prototype and details regarding its further developments and availability for end users are still under wraps.

The aim was to create an Arduino compatible board that squeezes into very modest sized apertures. This Arduino compatible FPC board is not available for sale as of now. Pricing details of the product are also unclear.
