Inspan Infotech launches new stand-alone TV tuner boxes in India called the Mercury LCD TV Boxes. This range comprises of two devices namely Mercury- EZ View LCD and EZ View USB TV Boxes.
TV buffs can now watch all their favorite programs on their very own computer screen without needing to use the PC. These latest devices offer customers a great viewing experience with its high resolutions. The quality achieved with the Boxes is much higher than that of standard TVs. Customers can also merge their gaming consoles, A/V devices or speakers to the tuner.
The Mercury EZ View USB TV Box has the ability to liven up the users’ laptop or desktop and make it a Digital multimedia centre. This stand-alone analogue Box is sleek in size and consists of various features. Customers can avail of Analogue TV entertainment at anytime or anywhere as the device is portable in nature. The whole video source can be directly captured onto a VCD/DVD file.

The Mercury EZ View LCD TV Box can be integrated with any device that has a VGA input like plasma display or projector, CRT monitor and LCD. This compact Box has an integrated TV tuner and many video ports. Through these ports, users can attach digital video cameras, DVD players, game consoles and VCRs. All content from these devices can be viewed in full-screen high-resolution images with high quality video. There is also a Picture-in-Picture feature. The Box also comes with a remote control for users’ convenience. This device caters to SOHO users, lifestyle segments and the tech-savvy youngsters.
The LCD TV Box gives viewers a 1280 x 1024 SXGA HD resolution. The device also comes with a unique design made especially for 17 and 19 inches LCD screens. It also includes a host of other features which give users a fun-filled TV viewing. The Box comprises of Eage-Preserving image interpolation, 3D motion Adaftive De-Interface and multi-language OSD. Image Freeze and Snap-Shot function is also enabled in this tuner.
The Video input comprises of Coaxial TV input, 8 pin Minidin VGA input, S- and Composite Video inputs. A 15 pin DB(female)VGA output is also included. Audio input and output consists of Composite Audio input, Form PC Sound card Line-In and Audio Output to Sound Enclosure or Sound card Line-In.
The boxes come with a 1-year warranty. The price and availability of the latest Mercury LCD TV Boxes are not known.
