Asus has introduced the P7P55D series Hybrid motherboards in India. These motherboards feature Intel’s newly launched P55 Express chipset and are compatible with the Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The board flaunts a unique Xtreme design that claims to optimize the overall performance of the system. It also promises to provide intelligent performance enhancement, active cooling, and rapid online access.

The specially designed P7P55D Premium is said to be the first motherboard that supports 6Gbps data transfer rate with the latest SATA storage interface. The expanded bridge eliminates the transmission bottlenecks and enables approximately 50 percent faster reading and writing of data. Asus also provides an expansion card that assists in achieving similar results.

The series promises to deliver maximum power efficiency, extremely cool operations, and enhanced component longevity. The Hybrid Phase Technology that these motherboards incorporate are said to deliver maximum efficiency and stable power supply.

About the launch of this latest series of motherboards, Vinay Shetty, Country Head, Component Business, ASUS (India) said, “The ASUS P7P55D series of motherboards is our latest offering based on the P55 chipset that will help users to experience the benefits of the ASUS Xtreme Design concept. These motherboards are specially designed to harness the full potential of Intel’s latest processor while at the same time incorporate unique hardware innovations to provide increased stability, cooling and performance.”

The Asus P7P55D Premium’s Hybrid Phase Technology is claimed to be the best in the industry. The Premium model also incorporates Asus’ first ever active cooling technology called the ASUS T.Probe along with the Stack Cool 3+ technology. The Stack Cool 3+ features a design with four layers of 2Oz copper in an 8-layer PCB.

The Hybrid Processor that this series includes assists in achieving higher overclocking speeds. The other features of this series are TurboV EVO, Auto Tuning, Asus OC Profile and Asus Turbo Key. The Asus TurboV Remote is incorporated only in the Asus P7P55D Premium and Deluxe models. The Hybrid OS integrates Windows and Asus Express Gate onto this series of motherboards. This offers users the option to upgrade to Windows 7 operating system.

The Asus P7P55D series Hybrid motherboards are now available for purchase. The Asus P7P55D motherboard is priced at Rs. 12,275 while the P7P55D Premium and the P7P55D Deluxe are price tagged at Rs. 22,750 and Rs. 18,650, respectively. The Asus P7P55D EVO and the Asus P7P55D PRO will retail for Rs. 16,375 and Rs. 14,450 respectively.
