When a laptop gets heated, one can still manage to cool it by placing support under the base. But when it comes to cooling the CPU, users don’t stand in a position to do much. Now GlacialTech comes to the rescue as they bring out the latest CPU Cooler F101.
This cooler comes with support for Intel Core i7/i5 processors, LGA775/1156/1366 and AMD AM2 and AM3 platforms. The unique design of this cooler incorporates an individually aligned sinter heat-pipe, which is a combination of five pipes. This will ensure that the heat is dissipated from the heatsink fins directly from the CPU. From here the Silent version’s fan will bring down the temperature without making noise during the process.
The fan that comes with the CPU cooler is that of 120mm, this offers a unique shape as a part of the cooler hovers over the chipset. The company claims that this product is a cost effective way to keep one’s processor cool as all users have to do while running resource hungry applications now is install the PWM version and turn up the RPM to manage heat dissipation. While the PC is idle all the user has to do is turn the RPM back to its own position. Besides, this users can also choose to avail the Silent version.
The other attributes that this device includes are additional 15 percent convection area for the system fan, 5X high performance sinter heatpipes, copper base, high efficiency 12 cm axial bullet fan, fan speed adjustable by PWM function. Along with the vibration proof mechanism for fan and high quality thermal compound included.
