ViewSonic intros VMP70 media player box

ViewSonic VMP70 Media Player After the success of its DPL projectors, ViewSonic is back again with an all new media player box called the VMP70. This new media player is capable of playing back digital media with a resolution of 1080 pixels. The box also allows users to share digital collection of movies and videos stored on the computer with any home entertainment system.

The VMP70 easily streams full HD 1080p media content on a TV or any other display system. The box offers support for USB drives as well as external hard drives. It is also capable of displaying TV shows, music and photo albums. Weighing less than one pound, this stylish and lightweight device is completely portable.

The VMP70 supports various video and audio formats including MPEG1/2/4, Divx/Xvid, MKV, H.264, VC-1, WMV9, RM/RMVB, DTS, Dolby Digital, WMA, MP3, FLAC, OGG and MKA. The connectivity options include HDMI, component, composite, S/PDIF and pair of USB drive slots. The box also packs in a remote control that allows users to adjust the aspect ratio, audio and format settings.

The ViewSonic VMP70 media player box is now available for purchase. The box is expected to retail for around $129.99 (approx. Rs. 6,156).
