JL Audio introduces its new subwoofers with remarkable musical as well as cinematic performance capabilities. It’s a new addition to its renowned Fathom lineup called Fathom f212.
The latest Fathom equips a pair of new generation 12W7 subwoofer drivers which are sealed in an enclosure centered around the most powerful motor systems of JL Audio.
It offers a bass with enhanced output, minimized distortion and greater transient accuracy. According to Carl Kennedy, Director of Home & Professional Products for JL Audio, “The f212 actually outperforms a pair of our stacked f112’s, without taking up any more space.”
The f212 measures 31.96†(H) x 14.92†(W) x 20.39†(D) and weights 220 lbs. The Fathom f212 also features an exclusive Automatic Room Optimization (A.R.O.), a powerful equalizer, laboratory-grade calibration microphone and on-board switching amplifier is rated at 3000 watts.
The Fathom f212 subwoofers will be available in October. The subwoofer with Satin Black finish is suggested at a retail price of $6,000 (approx Rs. 279,120) while the High Gloss Black finish subwoofer is expected to be priced at $6,100 (approx Rs. 2,83,772).
