Velodyne unveils new Impact Series of high-output, low distortion subwoofers at an affordable price. Sporting an attractive styling and black gloss trim, this new line includes Impact-Mini, Impact-10 and Impact-12.
Featuring 300W dynamic power and 180W RMS power amplifier, the Impact-Mini utilizes a 6.5″ forward firing driver and 8″ down-firing passive radiator. Its dish-shaped aluminum cones reduce distortion, limit standing waves and increases bass output. Measuring 10″ x 10″ x 12″, this tiny cabinet uses less space.
The Impact-10 and Impact-12 come with a down-firing port that maximizes bass performance as well as output and minimizes distortion. The Impact-10 offers a 250W dynamic, 150W RMS amplifier while the Impact-12 features a 275W dynamic and 165W RMS amplifier.
The subwoofers include MDP amplifiers with more dynamic headroom for high impact, 2-inch copper-wound voice coils and an adjustable, high quality crossover system to match the subwoofer with the main speakers.
The Impact-Mini is suggested at a retail price of $549 (approx Rs. 25,320), Impact-10 for $399 (approx Rs. 18,431) and Impact-12 for $499(approx Rs. 23,050).
