Memorex SingStand microphone speaker system released

Memorex SingStand system

Memorex has launched its latest interactive karaoke system, dubbed SingStand. This microphone speaker system enables users to sing along with the music stored on iPod devices or any MP3 device.

The SingStand sports a microphone and a full-size in-built mic stand, a 3.5 mm connection, two 4-inch speakers and one microphone. This allows users to let go the conventional CD+G unit to displays graphics and lyrics.

With the help of its dual microphone inputs, users can enjoy duet performance. Additionally, users can even connect the system to other musical instruments by simply plugging into the input jacks.

Speaking about the latest launch, Carla Pihowich, Memorex brand director, Imation Corp, said, “The popularity of amateur singing shows on TV and in communities everywhere just underscores the notion that every family has a budding vocalist in their midst. Unlike traditional karaoke machines, the Memorex SingStand lets you feel like a real performer when you step behind the mic stand and rock the stage — or just your living room.”

The SingStand also offers echo effects and full-range speakers built into the base for outstanding quality sound. The included Auto Voice Control feature promises to do away with original song vocals.

Priced at $69.99 (approx. Rs. 3,200), the Memorex SingStand microphone speaker system is slated to be available at Walmart stores across the US market by November.
