WorkForce 600 all-in-one Printer

Epson introduces new WorkForce range of printers, the WorkForce 600 all-in-one, the WorkForce 40 and WorkForce 30 printers with outstanding fast print speeds for greater efficiency. Offering up to 38 pages per minute (ppm) in black, this new range includes printers with an in-built Wi-Fi and wired networking. They also provide 5760 x 1440 dpi print resolution for sharp text and vibrant color graphics.

“The all-new WorkForce line is Epson’s solution for the micro-business consumer,” said R. Craig Allen, product manager, Consumer Ink Jets, Epson. “Epson defines micro-business as a subset of small business, with up to five employees, including freelancers and home-based business owners. The WorkForce suite provides printing, scanning and image output tools that are critical for this unique consumer to look professional and remain competitive.”

The WorkForce 600 all-in-one is Epson’s flagship product and provides print speeds that is two times faster compared to other printers. Offering laser-quality up to 27 ppm in black text and up to 19 ppm in default or normal printing mode, it features a 2.5-inch tilt LCD screen, built-in Wi-Fi and wired networking, 30-page automatic document feeder (ADF) and accommodates Epson Extra High-Capacity Black ink cartridges. It also lets you fax black as well as color documents in merely 3 seconds per page. The WorkForce 600 users will be entitled to a two-year limited warranty and a free lifetime phone support unconcerned with the warranty.

Epson’s WorkForce 40 and WorkForce 30 are compact printers which have been designed to increase the productivity of high volume printing. The WorkForce 40 has laser-quality color text up to 19 ppm in default mode while WorkForce 30 offers up to 11 ppm in default mode. The WorkForce 40 comes with an in-built Wi-Fi and wired networking. With speeds twice as fast as other printers, WorkForce 40 and WorkForce 30 provide sharp laser-quality black text up to 27 ppm in default mode.

The WorkForce 500 all-in-one is optimal for printing, copying, scanning and faxing important business documents. The WorkForce 500 features a 2.5″ tilt LCD screen, built-in 30-page ADF, faxing speed up to three seconds per page, printing up to 33 ppm black and color, built-in memory card slots and supports PictBridge.

The WorkForce printers are Energy Star compliant and utilize about three times less energy compared to other laser printers. They come with four-color individual ink a cartridge that replaces only the color that is needed. The WorkForce 600 and WorkForce 40 also equip extra high-capacity black ink cartridges.

The exclusive all-pigment inks by Epson produce offer remarkable text and awesome graphics. It is smudge and water resistant, thus protecting your important documents. Epson also offers the advanced DX3 MicroPiezo print head technology.

The Epson WorkForce 600 is now available for pre-order at the Amazon and BestBuy websites. The WorkForce 30 and WorkForce 40 are expected to be priced at $69.99 (approx Rs.3,049) and $129.99 (approx Rs.5,663) respectively.

The WorkForce 500 all-in one is priced at $129.99 (approx Rs.5,663) while the WorkForce 600 is suggested at $199.99 (approx Rs. 8,710). The WorkForce 30, WorkForce 500 and WorkForce 600 will be available in August through Epson’s retail site, major retail stores, computer, office and electronic superstores and PC manufacturers while the WorkForce 40 will be available in September through major distributors, value-added resellers, the Internet, mail order and Epson’s website.
