iKey has introduced the new DT-810-TB keyboard featuring an integrated 25mm mechanical trackball. The left and right click buttons are located above the trackball.
The latest keyboard measures 14.8″ W x 5.72″ H x 1.32″ and is highly rugged. The keyboard has a stainless steel case and an industrial silicone rubber keypad. A programmable button is also offered on the keyboard.
Besides, there is one more model of keyboard named DBL-810-TB launched, which boasts the same features as DT-810-TB. However green and red LED backlighting is added in the list of attributes.
Both the models are up to the mark of the NEMA 4X’s specifications. That means they are waterproof and safe from damage by corrosive liquids.
“We chose to integrate the 25 millimeter trackball due to its proven durability and patented sealing technology,” said Dave Huddleston, Operations Manager at iKey. “The compact dimensions allowed us to dramatically reduce the overall footprint compared to our other keyboards with integrated trackballs. The result is a product that compares in size to our most popular desktop products, but offers a new alternative for cursor control.”
No pricing and availability information of the DT-810-TB and DBL-810-TB keyboards are known.
