Fujitsu introduces a new network scanner in its document imaging solutions expansive lineup dubbed as Fujitsu fi-6010N iScanner. It’s simple, has enhanced security and encryption features, new network control utility and an upgraded user interface.

The fi-6010N iScanner is easy to install. You have to simply connect the device to the network and enter the network settings. It lets you share documents over a distributed network and also reduces the cost. It comes with web based centralized control utility, thus the network administrators can assign scanning profiles to users or groups as well as remote delivery of software updates. The new Fujitsu offers easy integration and customization with the Software Developer Kit (SDK).

Measuring 12.4″ x 10.8″ x 15.5″, it features an 8.4 inch XGA color touch-screen display, an integrated US 101 keyboard, 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF), ultrasonic double-feed detection, long document scanning support (up to 34 inches), it scans in color, grayscale and monochrome at speeds up to 25 ppm / 50 and true 600dpi optical resolution.

The Fujitsu fi-6010N iScanner comes at a suggested retail price of $2,995 (approx Rs. 142,164) while the one with SDK development bundle is priced at $4,495 (approx Rs. 2,13,339).
