Sonos introduces new ZonePlayer 120 (ZP120) and ZonePlayer 90 (ZP90). The ZonePlayers deliver multi-room music experience with innovative wireless technology and amplifier design. The new Sonos ZonePlayers allow you to add music to any room. Connect speakers to the amplified ZP120 and place it in the bedroom or backyard while the non-amplified ZP90 can do wonders when connected to a home theater or stereo.

The Sonos ZonePlayers equip the latest wireless mesh network technology called SonosNet 2.0. This technology doubles the wireless range of the Sonos system. On combining the SonosNet 2.0 with MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) wireless technology, the SonosNet 2.0 assures that the music reaches all the rooms with perfect synchronization.

Sonos ZonePlayer 120 features an industrial fanless design, Class-D amplifier, auto-detecting RCA, SonosNet 2.0, MIMO wireless mesh network and 2-port switch (10/100Mbps, auto MDI/MDIX). Sonos ZonePlayer 90 features RCA auto-detecting for line-in, SonosNet 2.0, MIMO wireless mesh network and 2-port switch (10/100Mbps, auto MDI/MDIX).

The ZonePlayer 120 measures 185mm x H 89mm x D 207mm and weighs 5.1 lb while the ZonePlayer 90 measures 139.7mm x H 136mm x D 74mm and weighs 1.5 lbs. The ZonePlayers support MP3, AAC (MPEG4), Ogg Vorbis, Audible, Apple Lossless, Flac, uncompressed WAV and AIFF file formats.

The new ZonePlayers are available at all Sonos authorized retailers and at the Sono’s website. The ZP120 will be retail priced for $499 (approx Rs.21,063) while the ZP90 will retail for $349 (approx Rs.14,731).
