Lexmark launches New Printers for Home Users and Students

Today Lexmark International introduced a new line of inkjet printers and all-in-one devices. The new range includes Lexmark Z2420 Wireless, Lexmark X3650 All-in-One and Lexmark X4650 Wireless All-in-One. The new arrivals are mainly targeted at home and student users.

Fast and easy installation, a new intuitive operation panel design and web toolbar printing aids for easy internet printing are the key features of the printers.

“Lexmark is focused on removing customer ‘pain points’ with robust products that deliver a great printing experience for every customer,” said Paul A. Rooke, Lexmark executive vice president and president of its Consumer Printer Division. “Our new Home and Student line offers freedom of mobility on printers that are very easy to use. In addition, they include industry-leading lifetime phone support, and we have wrapped them up in a sleek new product design.”

The Lexmark Z2420 Wireless offers built-in 802.11b/g wireless printing, compatible with 802.11n for seamless printing. It features print speeds of up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) black and 18 ppm color. Lexmark claims that the Z2420 has an ability to print lab-quality photos too. This printer will be available in the US market at $79.99 (around Rs. 3,225).

The Lexmark X3650 All-in-One features a quick-connect front laptop port and can be installed in as little as 10 minutes. Moreover, it offers one-touch copying, lab-quality photo prints directly from memory card slots, PictBridge or USB flash-drive. It rates the speed of up to 25 ppm black and 18 ppm color. The X3650 All-in-One is priced at $79.99 (around Rs. 3,225).

The Lexmark X4650 Wireless All-in-One offers built-in 802.11b/g wireless printing, compatible with 802.11n, easy, one-touch copying and can also print directly from memory card slots, PictBridge or USB flash-drive. It would be available in the US market at $129.99 (approx Rs. 5,241).
