Brother International, a Japan-based company has revealed its MyOffice Series of multi-purpose peripherals in India. The new series includes three printers the MFC-3360C, the MFC-5460CN, and the MFC-5860CN. The new introduced peripherals are 6-in-1 devices which feature functions such as color printing, faxing, copying, scanning, etc.
As an entry level device, the MFC-3360C is targeted at homes and small offices. It delivers speeds of 25ppm (pages per minute) in color and 20ppm in black and white.
While the MFC-5460CN and the MFC-5860CN offer speeds of up to 30ppm in black and white and 25ppm in color. These two printers also offer direct plug-and-play connection to the digital camera, which enables direct printing of images without requiring a PC.
All three devices are well equipped for PC Fax which eliminates the need of printing hard copies for faxing purposes. The MFC-3360C comes along with 16 MB memory that stores up to 170 pages of incoming faxes. They incorporate 32MB capacity.
With capability of sending paperless faxes, the MFC-5460CN and the MFC-5860CN also feature PC fax receiving capability, which allows paperless fax receiving. That means these devices are can receive faxes in soft copy. Besides, with the help of networking capabilities the devices can receive soft copy of faxes even when the PC is turned off.
Brother’s new printers, the MFC-3360C, the MFC-5460CN, and the MFC-5860CN are available at the prices of Rs 7,350, Rs 13,500 and Rs 16,900 respectively.
