Philips has announced that they have introduced a new product, called the Philips SRU8015, which is the newest member of the Prestige “Premium†universal remote controls family.
It’s 2-inch color LCD screen offers a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The remote also features a rotary wheel for easy navigation and white key backlighting that ensures you never miss a button, even in low light. You can easily access your favorite programs through the visual channel icons.
In addition, SRU8015 also sports an enhanced on-screen set up wizard that enables the controller to be set up instantly. Users need not access their PCs or consult the manual for the same.
Designed for easy use, the FAV button has the ability to direct the user to a screen where up to 100 preferred channel icons can be selected. ‘More’ button enables the user to access a page of special functions.
Along with the Home button, Philips SRU8015 Prestige Universal Remote is also compatible with 15 home entertainment products. It also helps the owner to learn codes of new remotes simply by pointing the handset and the device or existing remote controls at each other.
Philips SRU8015 Universal Remote is currently available in the UK for £99.99 (approx. Rs. 8,054).
