Mad Catz starts Shipping AirDrives Earphones for the iPhone

Mad Catz AirDrives Earphone Mad Catz Interactive has announced the shipment of the latest AirDrives interactive earphones that support Apple iPhone. It is called the AirDrives and AirDrives for Kids.

Developed for kids, this earphone is based on the company’s proprietary InAir innovative personal air technology.

The new Mad Catz AirDrives earphones are compatible with iPods, MP3 players, computers and portable DVD systems.

It features a unique, outer-ear design to delivers directionally sound for the consumer to remain alert and socially engaged when they are listening to their favorite tunes.

AirDrives has the ability to pass the House Ear Institute and OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Administration) standards for all-day listening, which is based on sound pressure levels that are detected at the inner ear.

Moreover, the patent-pending technology has developed with sound quality, overall comfort, and long-term ear health in mind for the kids to listen to music with ease and comfortably.

Mad Catz AirDrives earphones for kids come with a suggested retail price of $119.99 (approx. Rs. 4800). Users can pre-order their AirDrives and AirDrives for Kids online and will be available to them by early 2008.
