After the SGH-F500 mobile phone, Samsung also announced the launch of the world’s slimmest printers. The ML-1630 and multifunctional SCX-4500 are as slim and beautiful looking as a piano. The ML-1630 printer is just 11cm thick.
The printers further feature blue LED scan process indicator and button-less sensors to highlight their simplicity.
The multifunctional SCX-4500 device can print, copy and scan. Besides, it prints at the resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi. While, the ML-1630 printer can print at the resolution of up to 1,200 x 600 dpi.
The ML-1630 and SCX-4500 both feature 100-sheet Sliding Cassette for papers, 8MB memory and Hi-Speed USB 2.0. And they are compatible with Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista Various Linux OS, Mac 10.3~10.4.
“The world is wild about fine design,†said Junwon Bae, Senior Designer of Samsung’s Digital Printing Division. “In a world where consumers are looking for more than product functionality, Samsung has introduced an innovative product design and functionality that will further cement its position in the high-end printer market.â€
Samsung has not revealed pricing and availability information as of now.
