Celkon Millennia Q450 debuts in India with gorgeous design, cheap price tag

The Celkon Millennia Q450 smartphone has been officially launched in India and it’s one of the most attractive releases we’ve seen from the company in a very long time. The handset isn’t really alluring in the hardware department, but its stylish looks are what make it a good pick at the Rs 4799 price tag it carries.

The premium look on the Celkon Millennia Q450 comes from its rear panel which has an abstract texture. The front is simple and quite mediocre, but it’s made more alluring thanks to the customer interface the company has implemented. Also, the handset comes in colors of black, white and gold-white.

Celkon hasn’t really done much with the device on the interior. The phone is an entry-level release at its best and should compete well with the Android One program and other low-cost options in the market. A now rarely seen 1.2GHz quad core processor is employed here, while most other devices have a 1.3GHz MediaTek chipset.

Then there’s a basic 4GB of ROM with a microSD card slot for expansion. The RAM also is the lowest you can imagine, at 512MB. And for visuals, a decently sized 4.5-inch WVGA IPS touchscreen has been employed. The Millennia Q450 also packs dual cameras, dual SIM card slots and a 1800mAh battery.
