Even Lenovo gets bit by the flash sale bug, A6000 smartphone exclusive on Flipkart

Excited as we are that Lenovo is launching a new LTE phone in India which is officially called the A6000, we highly doubt there’s going to be a lot of enthusiasm from customers towards the company’s flash sale approach. The new handset will go on sale from January 28 through in limited quantities and it’s priced at Just Rs 6999 and not Rs 10000 as previously rumored.

The Lenovo A6000 is basically serious trouble for the Redmi 1S from Xiaomi as it has the upper hand in specs. The new phone offers a 64-bit processor and also 4G LTE connectivity, not to mention Android 4.4 KitKat and dual SIM support. The latter OEM is responsible for making the flash sale approach popular as even Micromax has adopted the same strategy for its Yu Yureka handset.

Lenovo A6000

Lenovo has partnered with Flipkart to offer its latest release and it hasn’t mentioned how many units will be available for the first sale. We’re probably going to see a very limited inventory and things should get better over the weeks depend on how well the A6000 is received in India.
