The Sony Xperia M2 Dual, the dual SIM version of M2 and a successor to the Xperia M has been launched in India and it has also hit pre-order status via select online retailers. Although officially, its price has been tagged at Rs 21,990, certain e-retailers like Flipkart will be selling it for a discounted rate of under Rs 21,000.
Based on the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS, the Sony Xperia M2 Dual has been fitted with a 4.8-inch multi-touch display of 960 x 540p resolution on the front panel. Accompanying the screen is a VGA webcam, while an 8MP snapper rests on the rear panel. Needless to mention, they facilitate video conferencing and capturing good quality images as well as videos.
And what’s more, the Sony Xperia M2 Dual handset’s internal working is carried out under the supervision of a quad core Qualcomm processor that can clock in a maximum speed of 1.2GHz. This chipset is assisted by an Adreno 305 GPU as well as an entire gigabyte of RAM.
