The Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190 is as you’ve probably guessed, an updated version of the original smartphone and it has been launched in India at Rs 11399 and above. Multiple online retailers are offering the smartphone for purchase in color options of black and white.
The Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190 is quite a major upgrade over the original model which is currently retailing for around Rs 15575. The handset has a tweaked design which now flaunts a slimmer look and has a shiny bezel running along the sides drenched in gold. The front and rear panels have also been tweaked and no longer resemble a Samsung Galaxy phone.
One of the key highlights of this smartphone is that it offers Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box and there appears to be a custom UI preloaded. The display size remains the same at 5 inches and the resolution hasn’t been modified either, still standing at 720p HD. A 2MP camera is on the front, while an 8MP snapper takes its place on the rear accompanied by an LED flash.

The main improvement is on the inside where the standard quad core processor has been swapped with a 1.5GHz hexa core chipset of unknown make. This one’s got MediaTek written all over it and it’s most likely based on the Cortex A7. The phone is dual SIM enabled like its predecessor and offers HSPA+ 3G support.
